Tell me what you think of this engagement ring and specifications (link included).?
14K White Gold Diamond Bridal set 2.44 ct. 0.96 ct tw. princess 0.64 ct diamond cutting center. channel set diamond engagement assembly-tw 0.85 ct. tw matching contoured channel set diamond band minimum Diamond Color: Minimum I Diamond Clarity: I1 http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/navigate.do?dest=5&item=392930 Is this too much for this ring? Also, since they do not know much about clarity, what do you think of the clarity grade. I know that is not the best, but the cut of the diamond (princess cut) to show or hide imperfections more or less?
* Note this is gonna be long ... sorry: o) personal opinion, the price is good for what you're doing. an average of about 1 ct or princess would go for about 3000 anyway so add another 1.44ct white gold for 4,500 sounds like a deal to me but not so great clarity. I1 is a in the lowest category on the scale needed to be clear that means visible inclusions (Or some may say "defects") in or on the stone visible to the naked eye. the larger the stone more visible defects.
